Last Post
So I know I haven't posted in a while and I'm sorry. Life has been very busy and at the end of the day I'm asking myself where all the time went. Well, not a lot has gone on classes are going well and work at the Fire Station is the same. Which is where Kadee and I just got back from, we are working out there to get ready for 2 yes 2 5K races in June. We agreed that we should start to train now so we do it rather than how we said we would last year and well, we haven't. It was nice to head out to the station and work out with my wife. I mean I got the best of both worlds, work out and spend time with my wife, We are a team just like any other married people. We fix dinner together, clean the house, eat or meals st the table together, so why not get in shape together. We both want 75 years of being together and are taking some steps to work towards it. We will both have count downs on for the start of the 5k's and will keep you all up to date on our progress. On a nother note, to explain the title of this post Kadee and I made a new blog. We will keep our old blogs with the website to get to our new blog. I hope you all enjoy and thanks for reading this one. WWW.The-Kidd-Family.blogspot.com

A Year In Review "07"
Well, well, well, where do I even start this. Oh how about last Jan.
Last Jan, Well other than the semester ending and then starting that was all that hap pend. I didnt have many plans for the new year sorry. Next up was Feb, I took 3 days and went with our States VBS team to North Carolina for Training. This was a blast, I got to meet a lot of new people and have a great photo show of in on myspace and my facebook.
Nothing BIG happened in March, like asking the Love of my life to marry me.( and she did say yes) After a great movie and time together well, I asked her and she said yes. After that not much happened other than the planning of the wedding and all the other details of that. Next up is the summer!!!!!!
Wow what do you do if you are in youth ministry in the summer. Camp, camp and, more camp. We took another group up to Bambi for summer camp, and I must say that I have never had such a great time. The kids did well(thanks to some work by Kadee and Jill to keep me from not sending them home) and we all grew as a group. after that, we came back and had a week off and I left for lil kids camp to teach a Drumming class. oh yea before all of this we had a youth and regular VBS. It wasnt until after the summer that my friends understood why Kadee and I wanted to get so much done for the wedding. Yea I had 4 whole weeks of 0 time. Next up was the fall.....
This fall my mom bought a new place on the southside, its nice you should see it. so in late Aug early Sept, we helped her move in and I moved in to her place. This was weird because it was the first time I have lived on my own. I had 2 project to get done before the wedding and a full load in school and the last thing I needed to do was tear a muscle in my shoulder. Yep 4 weeks before the wedding I sure did, and the best part was having it not being able to move until the Wed(3days before) our wedding. Still even in the midst of all of this going on, my friends and family,(my family big time) helped me a lot. I could not have gotten anything done in the house with out their help, so thank you again everyone for construction help, moving help, and whatever else I for got. So there I am in a surgeon's office wed waiting to hear if I was going to have to have surgery after my honeymoon. Then after all the test and grabbing and moving the Doc gave me the all clear with a crap load of restrictions.
Well now it was time for the big day. You can go to my 6 part series on the wedding to find out about it, but in a nut shell. Holy Crap baby you look hot, do you Ido, Do you, I do . Kiss man and wife, lets go eat and go on a cruise. After getting back well it was back to reality, a roof that leaked, a car that wouldnt run. And it just seems like in the 3 months we have been married that we havent had a week with out something going wrong. But Kadee and I have given or lives and marriage over to the LORD and so we trust and Know that He has our backs.
This year we got to have our first Thanksgiving, Christmas and, New years. We thank God for our great family and friends. They have helped us along in or time together and Hubbie and Wife.
So what does the future hold for the Kidds, God has moved us from Immanuel Baptist where I was the Minister of Students in a different direction of life. The time I had there and friends and Family I made will always be dear to my heart. I start the Emt Academy in a week and will be done with it in a semester rather than a year. I then hope to work full-time in the Fire/Ems area. Other than that, not a lot goes on with us, we are kinda boring. We get home from work and class and love to fix dinner together and the call it a night by 9-930.
Well thanks for seeing a year in review with us. I cant wait to see what huge things God does in and through us in "08" see you all later.

hello all
Why hello all, time for an update, I have school, home, and just life, so lets get started.
Well one more week and classes are done for the term and, I could not be any more happy!!!!!! I have enjoyed this term, but 16 credits was a bit much. I know of one class I will get a 4.0 in and the rest should be around 3.0 or 3.5, so Im not worried. It will just be nice to have time back. Next term I only have 14 credits so that wont be to bad because, they are all day classes. This means soon, very soon I will be done with school. This will stink because I enjoy the ministry that school has become, but I know that God will keep placing people in my life he wants me to meet.
Well as everyone knows it rained all weekend, and guess what. Our inside was totally dry, not one drop of water!!!!!Praise the Lord our cool God, the roof is done!!!!! It was nice to come home and not see our little drip,or have to dump out the water that collected in a pot. Our Christmas tree is up as well, I must say it is the bomb!! Kadee and I went and bought decorations for it and realized that we already had a crap ton of them. So we are going to put up all of them with lights and garline. It will be nice to sit on our new sofa and love seat and just look at it. Oh yea our new furnishings are here, yea!!!! I can now see some light at the end of the tunnel, it just seems like it has taken a year to get everything done, but it is almost there.
So last night Kadee and I finished dinner and were working around the house when we both just said we should call it a night and go to bed. This wouldnt be a problem except it was 8:30 at night, holy crap we are still in our twenties and going to bed at 9pm, oh well dont judge us we were tired. Other than that life is great, Im married to my best friend, I have great family and friends and everything I could want. Life is good, how about for you?

Married life is great, but why would it change? People have the weirdest looks when They ask how we are and I say great, Only to look at them like they are weird when they see the look on my face when they say Oh yea that will change. we are ok
well it was brought to my attention that Kadee and I are not eating enough. Well I thank you for your concern but can say that we are eating just fine. I would have to say that a lot of the weight loss That we had was prob due to stress.(we didnt have a big event in Oct!)That and the fact that as I said in a post, it was uphill both ways and we walked everywhere. If you would like I can take pics of the 4 cuberds and fridge full of food. Besides one of the greatest joys in life now is siting down and eating dinner and other meals with my wife,(which we do EVERY night, even on my late nights from class) we are a family its just what we do. So to sum up is money tight sure who isnt it with, But we have been faithful to God and He hasnt let us down yet, nor will he. see ya later gaters

The Wedding Part 5
Well after much food, dance and time with friends and family it was time to leave. As my wife and I changed and said our good bye's, I still could not help but think that my wife and I were now on our way to a cruise ship. We arrived in Detroit around midnight and then were up bright and early at 4 to park the car and head to the airport. Waiting for the airplane I remember sitting by Kadee and thinking that we were finally going on vacation, no calls from the fire dept, sheriff office, work, nothing and, sorry everyone it was a great feeling. Now we land in NYC, what a great city that Kadee and I both have a heart for. This is where we got to have our first romantic breakfast at Mc d's, with a crap ton of luggage to kill time(3 hrs just to let you know) As the taxi pulled in to the dock yard, we saw 2 of the biggest ships we had ever seen. theses things were.......well floating citys, even though our ship wasnt as big it was still huge. The best part was when we arrived 2hrs early they let us in to check in and board the ship, now are room wasnt going to be ready till but, we had time to sit, eat and, explore the ship. now its time to go.
Leaving NYC the sky line was amazing, then we passed by Lady Liberty and it was on to open ocean. What a great sunny day to be out and see the coast line. By now we had gotten in our room and unpacked, and were ready for food. After eating we cough a movie and went to bed early. Day 2 was pretty uneventful, we got up around 12 cleaned up and hit the ship. We found out where all the restaurants were, found the stage, and main areas were, and all the pools, hot tubes were. Day three we awoke to be in St. George, this was a nice little town. After eating on the ship, we took off to see the sites. Now I must say there were amazing things we saw, but dude it was up hill both ways for real. Heading to a beach we came across the unfinished church. it was a church started in the 1800s and never finished due to weather and a church split.(go figure) we then hit up St. Cathrine's beach and milked every moment there. It was a great day, 80 sunny and the water was wow. around 3 or so after many hrs in the sun we headed to a place to eat and then headed back up hill to the ship for the night. We decided to clean up and go to a sit down place to eat this night, so we did. waiting in line I so hoped we were sat with cool people and boy did God come through. We met 2 other couples and had dinner with them, they were nice and talked with us for a while. then after they left we had a group of New England Ladies sit down and wow. You talk about all things stereotype they were, their poop didnt stink and they wanted nothing to do with us, so we finished and left. That night we then went and cough one of the live shows and called it a night.
The next day we awoke to be in the capital city of Hamilton. We now were in all things urban, it was like being in a small NYC. The only difference was how nice the people of Bermuda were. Day one of 2 here Kadee and I spent walking around and we spent the best 20 dollars of our life's. We bought bus and ferry passes, we could now go ANYWHERE on the island and didnt have to walk.(yea) We then went to a lil garden right in town and mapped out the next day, which was well you will see. Heading back to the ship, we couldnt help but wish we could meet the cool people again, and we so did. We were right in back of them in line and they wanted to eat with us. Yea we had cool people to eat with, no more mean people. Dinner was great, we sat around talking about life, and each other and the decided to change and all meet and catch the show that night. After that it was time to hit up the midnight buffet!!!!!!!
Day 2 in Hamilton was packed, we hit up a Botanical Garden that puts anything I had been in to shame. It was huge, Kadee and I spent almost 2.5 hrs in it and didnt see it all.(sorry we did this day 1 my bad) Next we decided to head to the east side of the Island to the Museum, aquarium, and zoo for awhile. They had an amazing zoo/aquarium, we saw everything from snakes, to alligators, all kinds of birds, seals and, a crap load of fish. what a great time, after this we cough a bus back into town(30min ride) to head 30 min to the west to horseshoe bay beach. This was an amazing sight, the sand was pink the water was blue, and my wife looked so hot, could you ask for anything else in life? We spent three of the best hrs so far in our married life there. The waves were huge and knocked us over at times. Although we didnt get to many photos of it with the digital, we bought and underwater camera and got some cool photos ill have to scan and get up that way. We then headed back to the boat to go to a new restaurant without the cool people, it was called Chopsticks.(can you guess what they served?) It was ok, we'll just say that room servise was called that night. We then called it a night, man were we whipped after a long day.
The last day we got up early and headed out into town to buy t-shirts and what nots before the ship left around 12. We had a nice lunch and layed out for a while before heading down to our room to clean up and meet our cool new friends for dinner and a show. Dinner and the show were fun, we then sat around and talked then called it a night. we then git up and layed out again but, only for a little while because it was time for the chocolate buffet. Imagine walking into a room to the sight and smell of 750lbs of pure goodness in front of you. Holy crap is all I can say 2 plate fulls we headed up to a deck and sat and eat a lot. wHAT A GREAT TIME. The next day We awoke to the end of a storm and 25-30 foot waves, we'll just say that Kadee stayed in bed for a while. Walking around the ship I decided I would go outside, wow was this different. walking up to the bow of the ship the wind almost knocked me over, im not the smallest person in the world but still had to hold on or hit the ground. In the process of walking I happend to look over at the monster wake we would make and saw a pod of 15-20 dolphins playing in the waves. Isnt it like God to in the midst of a crappy day to still find away to make you smile and show how cool he is. We then had our last meal with our cool friends this night and went to our last show, in the morn would be NYC and a huge layover at JFK.
Heading back to the airport in the taxi it was weird to not be in the water. when we arrived around 11 at the airport we killed 5hrs by reading and watching football on the tv. Before we new it we were in the air and in Detroit, then at our car and on the road to our home. Arriving at home we were thrown back to reality, work a leaking roof, and the washer almost catching on fire. Man isnt God good, the following 4 days after getting back we had every reason to fight. But we just prayed, and leaned on God for our strength, held hands and together pushed right through all the problems we had. This has to be the best part of being married, having a best friend to be with you in good times and bad to help you through them. I hope you have enjoyed a look into our wedding and trip to Bermuda. I will try to get the pics up soon, if you have any questions or comments please feel free to leave them.

The Wedding Part 4
So on to part 4,
After the Pics in the park it is off to the dinner of the year.(for all who was there, you know what i mean.) On the way to the hall I kept thinking, wow im sitting next to my wife! Arriving at the hall I found an old Fire truck wait ting for Kadee and I to have some of our last pics taken on. How cool is that, to have a Fire truck, dude that was sweet. Now its time for us to make our entrance, after the wedding party I hear them call our name. Walking into the hall the number of people there was amazing. as we went up in took our place at the head table it only took 3.6 sec until the sound of tapping on glasses. heck yea ill kiss kadee. after all the kissing, it was time to eat and, man the food was good, i mean 2 plates full good. it was so nice to look out over dinner and see all these people who came to be with us on our day.
Now if you thought dinner was all that happened, man were you wrong. After Kadee and I were done with dinner we hit the crowed, after all we wanted to talk to everyone there.(sorry if we missed you) While we were talking I realized that in only a matter of min I would be having a dance with my wife. As the music started all I could see was Kadee walking to me. Then we started to dance, looking around all I saw were friends and family watching my bride. Man she was and still is hott, and she was mine.(just a hint as to what she had put on my ring) How nice, to be dancing with the one you love, then the music changed and the bridal party came out and danced. After this, I was able to dance with my mom, what a nice time. I was able to thank her for all she had done for me and tell her again how nice she looked. After this came the moment everyone was waiting for, Kadee and her Daddy. I must admit I had to leave just for a min, because at the sight of seeing him with his baby I did tear up. I hope Ican live up to at least half the Man he is. What a great site, just Mr. Border and Kadee, one day a long time from now, long time I may know what he was thinking if God blesses us with a lil girl. Then just like that it was over, Kadee and I changed and left to head to Detroit to crash for the night , and fly out for our honeymoon. See that in Part 5

See that in Part 5

the Wedding part 3
So now that pictures are done and, it is almost 1hr before the big event Kadee and I go back in to hiding. As I walk back to the gym where we dudes were playing b-ball I only remember the image of Kadee when I first turned around and saw her. It now dawns on me that I should eat something cause, I really do not want to drop in front of everyone. So Cobb and I got some cake, a Mt. Dew(which for all who were there saw that I shouldn't of had) and, took a walk outside. It was such a perfect day out, the sky was clear, the temp was just right and, there was a slight breeze coming in. Now up to this point I have been doing ok, I mean dont get me wrong my nerves were up but, not to bad. Not untill Dad Border came back all dressed up and told me of the large amount of people did I start to freak out. Looking out the door I still saw a huge line of people trying to be seated, crap that is a lot of people.
As Justin and Pastor Dave prayed for me right before we went out it all hit me. This is not one of my friends weddings, Im the groom, I am going to walk out of this room and marry Kadee. Lining up out side the door I remember Cobb and Big Daddy talking to me I just cant remember what they said. Walking my Mom and Mrs. Border up to light the candles I got to see just how many people were there. Its funny, in movies I remember how they can make time slow down and even stop. this is what was happening, the next thing I realize is Matt and Jill walking down, then Chewie and Squirt. Then the doors shut, Oh man now comes Kadee and her dad. As her mother stands so does every person in the room, all heads turn in the direction that I am looking. There id Kadee, my bride walking down to me with a HUGE smile looking right at me. Tears start to form in my eyes, and I look away for a mim at lil Jackson Cobb to try to blink them away but it doesn't work. Now she and her dad are right in front of me and I here," Who gives this girl away?"" Her mother and I" Mr. Border responds, and that is that, walking up the stairs with kadee I toke a huge breath. This is it, we are getting married. I dont remember much of the things said, I remember looking at Kadee and saying my vows. I kinda remember the song Matt and Jill wrote and sang, then I remember looking to chewie and him giving me a ring. At this point as I slip it on her finger, it is like I cant even talk. Im trying to repeat after justin but, the words just wont come out.(and the tears were trying to come back) Now I here Justin say I present to you Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Kidd, you may kiss your bride. Really, I can kiss kadee in front of people, heck yes, and then it is over. From start to finish the whole thing took 37 min, or if you were me 2hr23min. We then turn around to what seems like a million people clapping, yelling, and walk out. I just married my best friend, man the emotions that hit me as we hit the door were.......well indescribable. After dismissing everyone that came we took one min to ourselves while everyone was outside waiting. I remember taking Kadees hand looking her right in the eye and asking,"Are you ready to do this Mrs. Kidd?" "For the rest of my life Mr. Kidd!!!" The doors open to the outside and we leave the and jump right in a SUV and take off to have a few pics taken outdoors. After these are done its off to the second best time of the day, DINNER!

The Wedding Part 2
So as I left off in part 1, I wake up Sat with a knock at the door. Trying to walk over to the door I thought at first that I might had over slept and was going to be in a world of hurt. So how shocked was I to open the door and see a huge smile from lil Jackson Cobb greeting me at the door. I had not over slept, it was just time to hand out with Jackson and Cobb. We went and got some food, watched a liltle T.V. and packed up for the big day that was here. I remember on the car ride to the church trying nto figure out if I was going to get hit with nerves or not. I knew that I had made the right choice, I mean Kadee and I should not have met. It was a total God thing that I went up to CMU the night i did and met her for the first time, so I knew God would not steer me wrong. Arriving at the church around 11 A.m. there wasnt to many people around, then it happend. Standing in the parking lot holding a bag in one hand and, a tux in the other a wasp landed on my chest and started to explore. Now this wouldnt be a big deal except im DEADLY allergic to them and i couldnt blow it off.(which made him a little mad) so I screamed for Cobb to help.... in what seemed like 10 min, he came and saved the day. Wow what a close one!!!So Cobb and I are in the church and I realize that all us dudes have the gym to ourselfs. Man how cool is God I can Play B-ball all the way up till the service starts, yea. Getting changed it started to hit me, Im not at a friends wedding, Im at mine. so I did the only thing I knew to do, I went and played B-ball with God. Shooting the ball while praying was great, I was doing something physical while talking with God trying to calm my nerves. Then little by little my dudes start to arrive, then Jill comes in to tell me that we are going to do pics and it is time to see kadee for the first time. I know that its not right for the groom to see his bride before but, it was are wedding and we did what we wanted to do. As I was walking with Mrs. Border to see kadee I realized that my hand was shaking. I mean come on, I have done manly things at the fire station, I have trainned with the Tac team in our county and im shaking on the day of my wedding. So now Im standing with my back to the pews waiting for kadee and I hear her talking to someone as she walks down to me. I hear her stop not more than ten feet from me and tell me to turn around.
The only people in the church at this time is the photo guy, me and, my bride. So I turn around and wow. Im not the person to not beable to talk but, words can not discribe my bride that day. I mean even now I have a slight tear in my eye at the thought of her that day. She was.....perfect, the only way I could discribe her would be; you know in romantic movies when the girl walks down the stairs and everyone stairs at her well that was me. standing with my mouth open looking at my princessin all her beauty. man I just had to sit and talk to her for the 3 min we had alone to compose myself. Then it was back to getting ready for the wedding. more to come about the wedding in part 3, stay tunned.

I'm Back/Wedding Part 1
Well, I now write to you all as Matthew Kidd, HUSBAND of Kadee Kidd!!!!! If you didnt get the hint last Sat Kadee and I got married. I will try not to tell to much about it, as this is going to be a 4 part post about the whole event and cruise.
So to start, I am back in the good old U.S.A. After getting married, my wife and I cought a plane and boat and left the country.(more on that later like Part 3) It is weird, I am in the living room of our home typing and Kadee is in our room sleeping. I cant believe that we are married, last week came so fast that I think everythimg is hitting me now and it is kinda cool. So we are home now.
Part 1,
well you can not have a wedding with out practice, and thats what we did fri the 12th. most of the people were there and we went to work. We lined up and ran the whole program from start to finish. We even had little dots up on the stage to tell us where to stand. After perfecting our roles for sat we sat down to a lite dinner of Pizza and salad, with the greatest cake I have ever tasted. I dont know where my mom got it but dude, it was.........great!!!! we then broke up and hit the road. That night I got to hang out with my mom one last time, we had a late night snack and just sat and talked. It was so nice, because it has been awhile since we did this last. After we finished up I headed back to my hotel room and tryed to unwind. so after calling kadee, she came over for about 15 min and we exchanged gifts and said our goodbyes till the morn. Then after a night of 2ish ours of sleep I awoke to the sound of knocking at my door, who could it be? look out for wedding Part 2 to find who and what happend Sat oct 13, 2007
Thats it for now see ya

Last Post
Well today is the last time I will post as Matthew Kidd. After today I will be Matthew Kidd, Husband of Kadee Kidd. Wow that has a great ring to it, dont you think? The day is almost here and I still dont believe it, but I dont have any nerves or second thoughts at all. I guess this must have to do with the fact that after praying a lot for Gods will to be done, he gave me the goahead(along with Mr. Border) to marry Kadee. With God as the center what would i have to be afraid of. "THE Lord is my strength, whom shall I fear" I know that he has my and Kadee's backs. Man as I think back on my life I cant help but think that Sun morn when I wake up, my bestfriend will be there and , not only then but for the rest of my life. What a great thing, to spend the rest of my life with this person. I have dreamed of Sat for many years and must say, it isnt all I dreamed of but, it is pretty darn close. I know that as I stand before everyone sat with some of my best dude friends that we will be glorifying God with our wedding. Still I say that I have it harder, I mean how can I ever love Kadee as Christ Loves the church. Dude those are some huge shoes to fill, so I guess i will take it one day at a time.
I would now like to say thank you to all the people who have shared their lives with us. Kadee and I are so blessed to have a great network of friends to help us in life. To the friends who have helped us in our own walks with God. To the copules who have shown us what a Godly ministry minded marrige is. To those who have kept us grounded in reality I say thank you. You all mean more to us than you will ever know.
So to close my last post single, my question to you all is," Who will you serve?" To quote the Family verse of the Kidds," Choose this day who you will serve but, as for me and my house we WILL serve the LORD." I look forward to seeing you all on Saturday October 13th, 2007 for our wedding. oh yea Ill have pics on my myspace, facebook, and here. just click on the links to the right and go in the photo section and look for "wedding pics and Honeymoon pics. later gaters

Two weeks
Well as I sit in my living room, I can not help but realize that by this time in two weeks, I will be MARRIED!!!!!!! Yup, the time is near when Kadee and I will no longer be two but, one. As a younger person I guess I thought about this day. I mean i never had dreams about the perfict wedding but, non the less it is almost here. Can you remember when you were a student and it was like three or four weeks till summer break. Do you remember how time just slowed down to almost nothing, that is how I feel. from something like 285 days till now time has flown by but, now its like man it has only been two days come on!!!! Sometimes I try to think about how life will be after the wedding, am I going to leave the seat up, what about if this what if that. Then it hits me, shes going to be my wife, we will work it out. that is what you do when you are married, I am sure we will have little tifs now and then, but we will get by. To think when I get done with class and come home, she will be there. After going on work trips, she will be there. After the bad call or medical, she will be there. She might not beable to fix it every time but, just knowing that my bestfriend is home waiting for me is just fine with me.
So what else is up with me? My are is doing better, the physical therapy my surgen gave me to do is working very well. I can now do 15 shrugs, and lift my arm about half way up.(this is a good sign, because he wanted it to go up 3/4 way up for my next visit. 3 day before the wedding) So keep praying for the healing of my arm. School is going well, I have made some great new friends. Well that is it for now, I will see you all next time.

Three Weeks To Go
so I am sitting in the living room of Kadee and my new house and I can not help but think that in three weeks i will be married. The last two weeks have been well......very testing, everything from car drama, school, work and, the Fire Dept.
Well the good news is that the most of our construction is done at the house. Thanks to Kadee's family and some of my friends the ten plus jobs I had to do are pretty much done. Thank you to all who helped out, the last big job will be done today, being the new carpet Mary gave us. I would love to give you an update on the roof, but it has not rained after getting if fixed.(go figure) I should get some pics up to show you all progress from start to finish.
well as you all know I make the big bucks, so this month after paying out almost more than I made, why not have my car go in the shop to get fixed. As you can tell I was not to happy about that little set back. The good news is that it is fixed, the bad news is that well it was not free. Still in the midst of all I am reminded that The LORD gives and, Takes away blessed be the name of the LORD.
Last classes are still going well, I have made some new friends and hope to beable to bring them to church soon. Now I know that church wont save them but, getting them fellowship and around others might help to ease in the choise to follow Jesus. Continue to Pray that God use me in the places He has me in.

A New Week
Well hello everyone again, it feels like three weeks since I had posted last. Oh yea it was.
Well a lot has gone on, I moved out and in to my own place, school has started, Mom moved out, car drama, work and, fire stuff, so lets jump right in.
Kadee and I now have a home of our own. Granted it is just me and the dog till October 13th but, none the less its is ours. We spent the whole weekend and up till now helping my Mom to move out while moving us in. We now have a Kitchen and Bathroom. I am still sleeping on the floor in the living room but hey I am in college it happens. This Friday Dad Border comes down and we well he will be manly and I get to learn by helping in some house projects. It is nice to have such a Godly, handy, super sweet man to look up to as Dad Border. Even if I can take care of Kadee half as well as he has we will be in great shape. In no order we get to, fix a roof, kinda rebuild a room, plumbing(which next to hunting is my favorite time with Dad) and, some outdoor stuff. Not bad considering that I get married in like 37 days. I think that after all is settled down life at our house will be OK. There are a number of people that we will have over after awhile, so look for your invite. I have already started to get to know our fellow residents and hope to have good relationships and to use our home as a ministry to them. At least in my mind your house should be a ministry tool, in reality is it your house? Or is it another tool GOD has given you to do HIS work? Are there going to be times when we do not want people over, yea but I hope that as time goes on we will see HIS bigger picture and not shut people out. So consider that your first invite to seeing us, I love to cook, and Kadee loves to entertain.
School is in to its third week, and I can see why God has me in the classes I am in. The two Religion classes I have are well...............yea.(sorry I know that is not proper writing) Have you ever been in a class where you know the truth but can not say it? That is where I am at, I am only aloud to speak from an Academic stand point. That means when the Professor says that 2timothy 3:16 is false and proves that God did not write all the Bible I can not jump up and say,"What!!!!" "Are you kidding me?" Or that when you are told that ALL religions are OK and all people will be with God after they die I must once again refrain and try to find a way to Academically share the Gospel. The plus to all this is the fact that my classes know I am a Christian and can not figure out why I am not jumping in and telling them that they are all wrong and going to Hell. Well, that is because I have learned that that is what they want to continue to run from God. Just another uncaring, Hypocritical Christian telling them that they are wrong, and I will not. Who am I to look at someone and point out sin, who am I to cast judgment on someone, not me but Jesus. He is the one who came, rose for us. He is the one who WILL judge us for our lives, not me. I am just trying to get through life with out messing it up more that I already have. It is not up to us to condemn, but to offer redemption. Remember at on time you were Hell bound just as I was, and someone was caring enough to show you the way to Salvation. That is the only reason i can figure that He has me in these classes. I am with, Muslims, Atheists, Agnostics,Hindus,Buddhists and, more. What a great place to be, not in my comfortable world of all Born again friends but, with the people who need God the most, THE LOST. I hope that you will all be in prayer for me this semester, it is very hard being in these classes but, I serve a God so big that He and He alone can use me to change the lives of every student and the teacher in a single class time. I know this because He said it in HIS WORD, and he DOES NOT go back on it.
That is a brief look into my life this last week, it is pretty lame but, I manage. As the house comes along I will get some pictures to walk you all through the path of the KIDD's new house. That is it, just be in prayer for me and all the students. This is a great time to share the gospel and have lives changed forever. till next time see ya later gaters.

hello all, im back from China
Hey everyone, well if it seems like a long time that's because it was!!!! I am very sorry for the length of time between post, I have no excuse other that being lazy. I am sitting in my office (let me tell you how much I love doing it) finishing up work that I have not done, when it dawned on me how much has gone on. We had 2 Vacation Bible Schools, I had a trip to Tennessee, 2 Student camps and, normal church life. So let me catch you all up(if you have like 15 min).
To start off the summer, our church had its first ever Sr. High VBS. This was the first week in June, to show you how behind I am. We started around 7 and went till 9ish every night. The students had crafts, large and small group times, snacks, recreation, worship, and more. My thanks to all the members of our church and Faith Fellowship for all there help in staffing it, Heroes would not of been anything with out you all. There are is a lot of pics on the student website from all the days, so go check them out. I think the final number of those in attendance was 40ish, which was 13 more than last years. So a big thanks to all who helped and God who made it all possible, but that was not the only Vbs done at Immanuel.
Two weeks later we did our second Vbs called,"GameDay Central". This was from seventh grade and younger. They had the same layout as the Sr. High students and had about 10 more students the week. We also have a bunch of pics from this week at the churches website.
Next Kadee and I had our first of many long road trips, we went to see family in Tennessee. We left on a Thursday night and drove until like 0530 A.M. when we got down there. It was a nice trip, we got sun, and great food at our family reunion. Once again I have a lot of pics from this trip up online on my Myspace. Just select the pics icon and open up the Tennessee trip folder and enjoy all things Auvenshine.
Then we had like one or two days down before leaving for Youth camp for a week. This week of the three that I have been to was by far the best. We took 10 students and 4 adults, day one had two of or students become Christians. The week was filled with the students making some huge choices for the Lord. We had great worship, and sermons each night, with fun games and events during the day. One day we used nothing but food, it was nasty. For pics go to the Student Myspace or My Myspace. The trips up and down were fun as well, from Ashley puking in Jill's car in St. Johns, to Jill's Car not working Twenty feet from the church, Satin was working on our group. But non the less we made it through with the help of God.
Life with Kadee is going very well, we got a kitten only to find out that Kadee is allergic to it, and we had to give it away. The wedding stuff is going well also, we just picked out our cake. I wont tell you much about it but it is going to stand 24 inches high with a base or 18 inch and , 4 layers. 65 more days and we get married, it seemed like it was one month ago when we were counting down like 195 days and now we are almost two months out yea!!!!! Oh yea our Nike shox came in and they are sweet. look for the at the wedding. well that's it for now, ill try and keep up with the updated. so till the next time remember Salvation is one conversation away with God. Ask him and he will grant it. see ya

hello
So, as I sit in my office i can not help but think about stuff. Why is it that the sky is blue, why do I do the things I do not want to do, only to do the things I should not. This next month will conclude my time as a student missionary for The North American Mission Board.(Namb) I have had the best 5 semesters of my young ministry career with them. They along with friends around here have taught me, along with holding me accountable to; grow my life spiritually, sharing the Gospel, develop a heart for the lost for who they are, and where they are going without Jesus. It is this last lesson that after learning makes me realize that as Christians are job is never done. So I get paid to do what I do big deal, this is the job I have been called to do. As Christians we are all commanded to go and share, to go and live the word, to go and be a missionary where God has placed you. Even after my time with Namb this year and even when my full time career in ministry is over I will still be a servant of the one true, and living God. To not serve him with our lives is sin, and we all know how he feels about that, so whats your excuse for not living out the life His Son died for? For the next 2-3 months we are going through the book of Acts,(it is my favorite book in the Bible) how are those Christians different then us? What is it in your life that is holding you back? What will it take for you to see the loving grace God has to offer? I pray that you give whatever it is over to God, and start living your life for Him.
